Apprenticeship path

The generalist nursing apprenticeship runs three years and ends with the official state exam to qualify as Pflegefachfrau or Pflegefachmann:

  • School component at a local vocational school (Berufsschule), practice hours at your facility
  • Practice hours at your facility as training provider: we coordinate rotations and mandatory placements
  • Compensation per collective agreement: same as for German apprentices, no special contract
  • Residence permit per §16a AufenthG: we steer visas and renewals
  • From a single source: accompanied applications – documents, translations and authority communication fully managed by us.

Frequently asked questions – apprentices

  • It depends on your practice-instructor capacity. We recommend a maximum of four parallel apprentices per qualified practice instructor. We help with planning.

  • At minimum B1 before apprenticeship start, ideally B2. The latter materially eases ward integration. We test pre-departure and issue corresponding certificates.

  • Yes, if you are bound by a collective agreement, the same conditions apply as for German apprentices. Special tariffs or deviations are not part of our model.
