Why this professional group

Registered nurses are the structurally scarcest professional group in German healthcare. The Bertelsmann Pflegereport (as of 2022) projects a gap of roughly 500,000 registered nurses by 2030. Our programme targets exactly that: B2 language level, technical preparation and cultural integration before the first day on the ward.

Recognition path for registered nurses

Recognition follows the Pflegeberufegesetz (PflBG). Depending on country of origin and prior education, two routes lead to full professional recognition:

  • Preparation in our own Kenntnisprüfung preparatory courses at the IAG; in some federal states the state exam can be administered by our in-house certified examiners.
  • Adaptation programme: structured theory and practice for fully partial recognition
  • AZAV-certified: refinanceable via Bildungsgutschein for the hiring facility
  • We know the particularities of the Bezirksregierungen, Regierungspräsidien and Landesämter – and steer the process accordingly.
  • From a single source: accompanied applications – documents, translations and authority communication fully managed by us.
